Yoga is much more the the physical poses (asana), the clothing you wear, or the place in which you practice. Yoga is an attitude that you bring to your life; whether you are meditating, working, running, or going about your daily activities. Yoga is a living, breathing, moving practice that connects you more to your deepest desires and thoughts. By engaging with the breath and body; you achieve a clarity of what you want for yourself and others; and you enhance your connection with the entire universe. Through the practice of yoga, you cultivate a sense of balance and equanimity to transform your health, build strength and flexibility, and elevate your sense of contentment.
The mission of Blue Lotus Yoga & Wellness is to help each student nourish their body, heart and soul through the practice of yoga. Each class includes meditation, breathing practices, active poses to build strength and flexibility, and resting poses to relax and unwind. The uniqueness of each participant is honored. We also laugh and have fun during class, not taking ourselves too seriously.
Along with offering general yoga classes, we also provide Life and Wellness Coaching and Recuperative Yoga for Breast Cancer Survivors.
